Medical & Fitness
Daniel Okafor, PA-C
Editor — Medical, Allied Health & Fitness
Daniel did the long path. NREMT-Basic at nineteen, NREMT-Paramedic at twenty-two, four years on a 911 truck in suburban Maryland, then a PA programme that finished in 2017. He spent three years in emergency medicine at a Level I trauma centre before switching to primary-care internal medicine — a deliberate move toward chronic-disease management and the slower-paced relationships emergency work doesn't permit.
He recertifies through the NCCPA PANRE-LA pathway, which means he has been in the question stream continuously for the last seven years. He also holds the ACE-CPT and runs a small evening personal-training practice, mostly for fellow clinicians who want to lift heavier than their cardiologists would advise.
On Cert Climb he covers the medical, allied-health, EMS, and fitness exams. He is matter-of-fact about it: most exam-prep content over-indexes on rare-disease zebras because they make for memorable mnemonics, when the actual exams reward you for the bread-and-butter primary-care patterns. His guides correct for that drift.
